Steve Julo- Vice President of Development and Construction
Steve Julo is a seasoned construction professional with over 27 years of experience in both public and private sector projects. A native of Grandview, Missouri, Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Master of Science in Industrial Technology, both from the University of Central Missouri.
Steve began his career with the Department of Defense as a Project Manager for the 509th Civil Engineering Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base. He later transitioned to academia, teaching Construction Management at his alma mater before moving into the private sector. Over the next 12 years at Walton Construction, Steve advanced from Project Engineer to Vice President. His subsequent roles included work at Prosser Wilber Construction and Centric Projects, where he served as Vice President of Operations for seven years.
Notable projects Steve has been involved with include the Global Ministry Center for the Nazarene Church and multiple Veterans Administration Clinics. He takes particular pride in the Global Ministry Center, where his team used innovative materials and construction methods to create a facility with a 50-year life cycle. Steve also finds great fulfillment in contributing to the Veterans Administration Clinics, where positive feedback from veterans makes him feel that he is making a meaningful impact on their healthcare experiences.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Royals and Chiefs.
